REDLANDS Camera Club has won this year's Queensland Interclub Competition, beating 20 other photographic groups.
The competition is a friendly photography duel between camera clubs from all over Queensland.
Each of the 21 clubs that took part submitted three images by different photographers in the seven prescribed categories.
This year's event on Saturday, September 7 was hosted by Ipswich Photographic Society at the old Ipswich courthouse.
The Redlands Camera Club entries were selected from club grades A, AB and B, giving members of all grades the opportunity to be involved.
The images were mainly drawn from the clubs monthly image critique evenings which follow the guidelines of the Australian Photographic Society.
The topics this year were people, nature, scapes, architecture, movement, transportation and open.
The Redlands Camera Club has taken part in the event since 2007 and members were thrilled with their result.
