FOUR young Macleay Island locals, as well as an older Karragarra man, will face court after an alleged disturbance earlier this month.
Police say on Thursday, September 3, they were called to investigate a disturbance at a licensed premise, and charged four people with public nuisance.
Macleay Island men aged 25, 20 and 19, as well as a 52-year-old Karragarra Island man will appear in Cleveland Magistrates Court next month.
The four were banned from the premises.
Meanwhile, police issued eight infringement notices for various traffic offences.
On September 7, a 74-year-old Macleay Island man was fined for driving with a recently expired licence.
A 17-year-old copped a fine on September 27 for driving an uninsured, unregistered car.
Police nabbed six people for speeding and parking offences.
A 44-year-old Macleay Island man will face court, charged with driving while over the legal alcohol limit.
Police have investigated six domestic violence incidents.
