Redland's own Leah Lever returns to her hometown to perform cabaret-style shows at RPAC stage sessions with special guests Callan Warner, Scott Muller and Mai Naito.
The teenager has produced her own show, A Night at the Theatre, a one-hour cabaret which will premiere at the Redlands Performing Arts Centre's Stage Sessions 2.0 series of concerts Friday July 2.
A Night at the Theatre features Lever performing solos and duets with Warner and Muller, with lyrical style dancing from Redlands-trained Mai Naito.
Lever said it had always been a dream to perform at RPAC.
"I have been performing in the Redlands and producing my own concert shows for many years now, but this show raises the bar in terms of the prestigious venue, and my collaboration with other talented performers to add more variety to the show," she said.
"I was so pleased when both Callan and Scott accepted my invitation to be special guests as they each have such high standing as performing artists and each has a different performance style."
Muller is a member of the renowned music ensemble Ten Tenors, and Warner is a performer and former television presenter on the children's television show Crocamole. Like Lever, they both grew up at Redlands.
Naito is also a rising talent having lived and trained as a dancer in the Redlands most of her life. She will choreograph her own dance for A Night at the Theatre.
Lever's second show, Songbird, will see her perform songs from more than three decades in an afternoon session on July 10.
"Songbird will carry the audience on a magical flight through music at a special Donald Simpson Community Centre soiree," Lever said.
Limited seating is available for both events. To secure your ticket to A Night at the Theatre visit the RPAC website and select the session on July 2 at 6.30pm, or phone RPAC on 3829 8131.
