A record $15.3 billion state budget investment in education will see a new primary school for Redland Bay, a hall upgrade for Capalaba State College and an oval at Mount Cotton State School.
State Treasurer Cameron Dick has slashed the forecast 2020/21 deficit of $8.6 billion to $3.8 billion in his 2021/22 budget, unveiling the Regional Action Plans Map for Brisbane and Redlands.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said almost $1.9 billion in infrastructure spending would maintain, renew and build new education facilities, including 10 new schools and other facilities supporting more than 4100 jobs across the state.

Redland Bay is one of six areas in Queensland earmarked for a new primary school, to cater for the Shoreline development.
Redlands MP Kim Richards said the budget delivered infrastructure the community needed.
"We have record investment in our roads, hospital and health services, and across our schools including a new $8.6 million learning precinct for Victoria Point State High School," she said.
Capalaba State College will get $4.1 million in 2021-22 out of a $8 million total spend for a hall.
"Capalaba State College's new hall will enable the school to cater for full assemblies and their basketball and volleyball excellence programs," Capalaba MP Don Brown said.
"Alexandra Hills State School has secured $400,000 for refurbishments, while Birkdale South State School students will enjoy a $275,000 upgrade to their outdoor learning area.
Mr Brown said Hilliard State School's E Block would get a $450,000 refurbishment and $300,000 would be spent on Vienna Woods State School's after school learning facility.
"This is on top of the final $950,000 for the redevelopment of Alexandra Hills TAFE, which I'm looking forward to seeing completed."
The budget delivers $22.2 billion for health, including $482 million to relieve pressure on capacity and elective surgery waitlists, in 2021/22.
Redland Hospital will get $53.4 million out of a $136.4 million total spend for construction projects, including a multi-storey car park.
Oodgeroo MP Mark Robinson said hospital funding meant the much needed upgrade was being pushed back further.
"Whilst better parking has long been sought at the hospital, residents should prepare themselves for an overpriced car park and paid parking. There has been no clear commitment to additional palliative care which will leave the terminally ill to suffer or to seek placements elsewhere," he said.
Having land crucial to expanding the hospital, meant the sale of land to its north was detrimental as it would affect development.
The Redland satellite hospital at Weinam Creek will get part of $265 million set aside for a total of seven satellite hospitals across the state.
The aim is to free up capacity at acute hospitals.
Mr Robinson said the government was silent on big transport projects.
"MPs have been talking up the 2032 Olympic Games and the possibility of big ticket transport infrastructure - like the eastern busway and Cleveland line duplication - being leveraged off the Games," he said.
