HEAVY rain leading up to the weekend's much anticipated grand finals have placed a temporary dampener on the two games currently being played at Redlands Tigers' cricket grounds.
Tigers fourth grade, playing against University of Queensland, endured a long wait over Saturday and Sunday to not bowl a single ball.
Such was the amount of rain that fell across greater Brisbane, unfortunately there was no action.
Tigers sixth grade managed to begin play on Sunday afternoon against Valley before the rain came down and stopped play after 17 overs.

Valley won the toss and elected to bat, ending on 2/53, with Brayden Hayes and Jay Kidley both snaring an early wicket each for Redlands.
With a better weather forecast later this week, the Tigers will be optimistic of play resuming this weekend.
Extended playing times will be scheduled in an attempt to make up some of the lost time.
Play resumes this weekend at Redlands Tigers Cricket Club, Wellington Point.
