VICTORIA Point songstress Aislinn Sharp will perform a selection of her songs during a 50 minute set at Redland Performing Arts Centre next month.
The performance is a part of the Stage Sessions 2.0 Concert Series, which will feature emerging and experienced musicians from across the Redlands.
The concert series format will also give Sharp the chance to speak about her music and mental health work.
"It is really unique," she said. "Normally I am just playing my music but this time I will be deliberately taking time out between songs to chat with an interviewer.
"We are hoping that there will be an opportunity for the audience to join the conversation and ask questions as well, if they wish to."
The Stage Sessions 2.0 Concert Series will be held at Redland Performing Arts Centre from Friday, July 2 to Sunday, July 4.
Sharp will perform at 2pm on Saturday and will be joined by backup vocalist Miss Elm and percussionist Steve Fischer.
"This to me is bringing together my passions of being a singer-songwriter and R U OK? ambassador," she said.
"This is really unique that I am able to do this, so I'm very excited.
"I will be doing my R U OK inspired song Matter, my dance track Unsung Hero and also my brand new electronic pop single Phone."
Sharp has not performed live since September but is expected to play about seven songs at the RPAC concert.
"My favourite (live) venue has shut down, so things are different now," she said.
"It is a different world right now, so it's about readjusting.
"This is an amazing opportunity, because it is also an artists' development program.
"They asked artists to propose a way to develop themselves, so we are essentially running the concert ourselves."
